The Barbour County Historical Museum is a volunteer run museum. We rely on community members to help keep the museum running. Do you have a love for local history? Want to be involved in your community? Apply to volunteer! You can learn to give tours, organize collections, and much more! There are no requirements for education or experience. Want to Donate?
Our museum houses many objected donated or loaned by local people. If you have something you would like to donate, either contact us or bring it to the museum and fill out our donation form. If you would like the object back, we also accept loans to display and give back to you at a later date! We appreciate every donation as they all give a fuller picture of Barbour County's history!
