Barbour County Historical Museum is located in the Philippi B&O railroad depot, a 1911 mission-style train station listed on the National Register of Historic Places. While passenger service ended in 1956, coal trains still rumble past regularly.

Barbour County Historical Museum may be able to accommodate off-season visit requests when our local volunteers are available.
